What thickness do industrial poly bags need?
It depends on the weight, shape and edges of what is packed and how roughly the bags are handled. Heavier, sharper or bulkier contents need thicker film or a stronger LLDPE-rich blend. Share the product and the weight per bag and we will recommend a thickness.
What material are industrial poly bags made from?
Industrial bags are made from polyethylene: LDPE and LLDPE for flexibility and puncture resistance, or HDPE where a stiffer, stronger film at a lower thickness suits the application. Blends of these resins are common.
