What is stretch film made of?
Stretch film is usually made from LLDPE, which can be stretched well beyond its original length and clings to itself. That stretch and cling hold a wrapped load together without heat, tape or straps.
What is the difference between stretch film and shrink wrap?
Stretch film is wrapped tightly around a load under tension and holds it by elastic force and cling, with no heat needed. Shrink wrap is applied loosely and then heated so it contracts around the product. Stretch film is mainly used to secure pallets and bundles; shrink wrap gives a tight covering on individual products or packs.
What should I tell you when ordering stretch rolls?
